Traditional Christmas Eve...

This year was fun because we have Amber, James and Chris here!! Yay!!  We had such a fun time gathering at Mom's.
We ate a yummy turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
We sat by the tree and fire talking of old times. Lots of laughing
The (kids) were too anxious to open presents, so....
 We did!
 Jared opening his gift.
 McKenna's Christmas pjs.
Grandma helping Auctober open gifts. She had to wear the socks.

Grandpa is trying to play with Auctober. She can be such a stinker some times.
 Happy!
Auctober wanted to help Taisha open presents.
 Taisha's Christmas pjs.
Amber may have fleas or something LOL. Who took this funny picture?

 Alisha's Christmas pjs

 Chris's Christmas pjs.
We got Auctober pjs and a minnie mouse with a car.

 They love waffles...
And NOW...they can make them. Merry Christmas from us!
Austin too got Christmas pjs.

Christmas Eve Morning...

My baby brothers, Tyler and Jared and my nephew Chris came to sleep over and have some fun!
The night before they played Skyler's new Pokemon Monopoly, that he got from his Secret Santa and the Sommers Christmas Party. They all had fun! Lots of booing and yelling. :)
On Christmas eve morning, they went out to fly Danny's Secret Santa gift, a remote airplane.
They were out there forever. It was hard to call them in for my Christmas Eve tradition of Caramel french toast. Everyone loved it. Of course. It is always a hit. They all hung out watching movies, playing XBOX, Wii and of course, their ds's.

I at first was a little sad that I would have all these people on Chrismtas Eve. Due to my surgery, I was not feeling good and felt a little not ready for Christmas, even though I was.

As it turned out, getting those boys together on a day they would have just normally sat around bored, but they all were laughing, even Jared who is battling diabetes. They brought me so much joy and the true spirit of Christmas. I sure love these boys! I also love how they include Alisha. She is just one of the guys...LOL

Birthday party...

Taisha bought her own treats and planned a good time. They watched a movie, played games, and sang and danced around the kitchen. It was not only loud...LOL...it was fun. Her good friends got her awesome presents and I think this helped her feel more loved.

Miss Natalie...her best friend since kindergarten.

An Early Birthday...

Due to the Sommers Family Christmas Party being on Taisha's birthday, we decided to celebrate it on Saturday. She had the choice of what day to open her presents and she chose Saturday.

Alisha wrapped her present so good.
Alisha gave her a sock monkey beanie.
Doesn't she just look so cute in it?
 Hugs for Alisha!

We all gave her a rock climbing helmet and safety gear.

 She really did love it!
Next...I made her pictures for her room of all the fun outdoor fun she has had. She really is an adventurer.
 She like them!

Afterwards, we got her Taco bell, That is what she chose for dinner and watched a movie. She sadly started not to feel well, so this was perfect.

I sure love this girl. She is so kind and helpful. The dare devil in her does scare me, but it also makes me proud. She is NOT afraid to follow her dreams.

Taisha...

I love you to the moon and back!
