This year SecurityMetrics is introducing a new competition, the "Dance-off" powered by ClubMobil (A Professional DJ and entertainment company).
Q: How will the competition play out?
A: Round 1: All contestants will enter the dance area. The DJ will play a mix of music. During the music 2-3 judges(non-securitymetrics staff) will go around putting bands on dancers arms, once you have been selected you can relax, you are a semi-finalist!
Round 2: All Semi-finalists will be asked to remain on the dance floor. The DJ will que up the music and the Judges will make another round the dance floor selecting the top 3 finalists.
Round 3: Each finalist will get the chance to dance for $500.
Once the 3 finalists have been selected we will invite them on the dance floor. The DJ/MC will then ask the crowd to cheer for one of the three contestants. We will have a SPL Meter available to measure the volume of the cheer! The contestant with the loudest cheer wins the prize!
TIPS: The Judges will be looking for competitors with talent and/OR enthusiasm. You do not need to be a professional dancer to win the competition, you just need to dance like a banshee and get the crowd pumped!
