New Mexico...

Danny, Alisha and I took Taisha, team member Clara and their coach Caly to the competion in Albuquerque New Mexico. 

We had a hard time getting pictures of Clara and Taisha because the wind was blowing their hair in their faces. They both laughed a lot.

The first night at the hotel , the girls used Kool Aid to dye pieces of their hair for the comp.

Saturday fun...

Danny and Taisha went to Joe's Valley Early Saturday and with Skyler at Tyler's, Alisha, Mckenna and I went to get a drink. I then decided to go look at Halloween stuff and invited Autumn and her girls (Austin was working) over to enjoy the beginning of Fall(We can't call it Autumn because that gets too confusing.) We ended up going to Crafty Wood Cutouts and picked a craft later that day. I was hoping this would help my anxiety and funk I am in.

First the girls made Halloween foam crafts.

 McKenna made a haunted roller coaster.

 Alisha made a spooky tree.

 And Big A made a witch shoe in which a witch lived in. Does that make sense?

 Then...

 Autumn made her yummy chili and rolls. We love her so much!

 Aunya just hung out in my arms or watching the dog outside.

A Secure Anchor

Just like rock climbing alone can be dangerous, living your life without the help of the Savior can have disastrous consequences.

Elder Richard G. Scott teaches: “True, enduring happiness, with the accompanying strength, courage, and capacity to overcome the greatest difficulties, will come as you center your life in Jesus Christ. Obedience to His teachings provides a secure ascent in the journey of life.”

I thought his metaphor was one we could relate to. We NEVER climb alone. We always are always safe and are secured and follow our Savior.
